PROJECT BASED LEARNING
Learning Beyond the Traditional Instruction
Project Based Learning goes above and beyond from what the traditional instruction offers. With PBL, students begin to think critically, solve problems, and develop in-depth understanding that deepen their learning. In this environment, students have proven to improve their curiosity, which in turn improves their self confidence, creativity, and gives them a sense empowerment with the work that they do.
In a PBL setting, teachers can communicate with administrators, exchange ideas with other teachers and subject-area experts, and communicate with parents, all while breaking down invisible barriers such as isolation of the classroom, fear of embarking on an unfamiliar process, and lack of assurances of success.
"Project Based Learning is not just a way of learning; it's a way of working together."
